The Department of 沟通、媒体 & Design focuses on providing undergraduate students with the in-demand communication skills that make them valuable in a variety of fields and workplaces, from Fortune 500 companies and digital production studios to video game manufacturers and startups.

As part of our department, students benefit not only from small class sizes, one-on-one faculty mentorship and access to state-of-the-art technology and equipment, but also from being a part of the technological and innovation-rich environment that Clarkson provides overall. Our students work on interdisciplinary projects with students from other disciplines, 比如工程学, 科学与商业, through University-sponsored competitions like the Clarkson Ignite President’s Challenge.

沟通、媒体 & Design students often elect to take part in Clarkson's radio station, WTSC 91.1FM来源. WTSC offers all types of shows ranging through many genres: sports talk to hip-hop to classic rock to indie. WTSC is run by a dedicated group of students which make up their executive board. DJs are encouraged to participate in remote events, 工作室的维护, and can utilize their professional-quality recording studio.
